Breathe 04:26
You’ve been running out of road now you’ve reached a full stop, All of your dreams got burnt on a long shot, Take a few steps back from the edge, And breathe… Those were the days you used to impress, A little hustle, a little cash, trips down south, self possessed You know you can’t quite, recall how it all went wrong Three thousand miles of American blacktop, You’ve turned off your phone and ditched your laptop, You’re running out of road, and you feel like death, You’ve been running on empty now you’ve reached a full stop, All of your dreams got burnt on a long shot, Take a few steps back from the edge, And breathe… The story’s now is well into its arc Not so sure that you’ll, reach the redemption part Everyone else could see that you were just a mark Three thousand miles of American blacktop, You’ve turned off your phone and ditched your laptop, You’re running out of road, and you feel like death, You’ve been running on empty now you’ve reached a full stop, All of your dreams got burnt on a long shot, Take a few steps back from the edge, And breathe…

Plan 03:43
I once spent a week in Berlin I met a girl with weird skin I think we connected We indulged in dialectic Despite that we were gonna save the world because we’ve read the same books, And that was the plan, oh what a plan! Uh huh I couldn't think straight She said let’s make a list of the men we hate I said this could cure my condition She said we were only just messin’ Despite that we were gonna save the world because we’ve read the same books, And that was the plan, oh what a plan! Uh huh Despite that we were gonna save the world because we’ve read the same books, And that was the plan, oh what a plan! Uh huh I got back to the room but she was gone, I guess she’s back in Saskatchewan Despite that we were gonna save the world because we’ve read the same books, And that was the plan, oh what a plan! Uh huh

An only child in the old steel town Early days she learnt to keep her head down She watched, she made notes, she stayed unseen ‘til she joined the dots, yeah she mapped out, the whole damn scene. ‘Cause she’s the King of Spain, Two thousand words, she named all the guilty men King of Spain, She’s the King of Spain Some ugly old man was doing the Strand, Seemed to get his way with all of his plans, Greedy, bad tempered, with a mean streak to boot, Went too far this time, and now she’s going to bring him to book. ‘Cause she’s the King of Spain, Two thousand words, she named all the guilty men King of Spain, She’s the King of Spain, One day she vanished, no one knows where, Some say she’s in Vegas, some say she’s up in Bel Air, The hustlers still pray but they’re under her spell Cause maybe she’s just watching, they sure as hell can’t tell She brought down the grifters, hard men and kings, How the hell, they all said, does she even know these things From faces and elders to upright men of state Words were her weapons, and words carry weight ‘Cause she’s the King of Spain, Two thousand words, she named all the guilty men King of Spain, She’s the King of Spain

Harvest 04:32
Now that you’re done, You said you always did your best, Now that you’re done, You’ve built a cosy little nest, Now that you’re done Count the cash and pack your bag, Now that you’re done Roll up your precious little flag Now that we’re done with you, You can exit stage left (pursued by bear) Now that we’re done with you, You can just f-f-fade away Now that you’re done, How did you get it all so wrong Now that you’re done, Did you start off sincere but ended up singing the wrong song Now that you’re done Are you proud of what you achieved Now that you’re done Go running back to your little den of thieves Now that we’re done with you, You can exit stage left (pursued by bear) Now that we’re done with you, You can just f-f-fade away You’ve had your fun, But now you are well and truly done. Now that you’re done Don’t think we’ll putting up a plaque Now that you’re Done We’re just glad to see your back Now that we’re done with you, You can exit stage left (pursued by bear) Now that we’re done with you, You can just f-f-fade away

Seaside Town 03:55
I’m going down the sea, Because I love it, it’s the only place where I can breathe, Then we’ll lie in the sun, And count the waves, one by one Then we’re off for a drink But the bar, its rammed and I can’t hear myself think, And I want to talk Maybe go for a walk Times are tough and things have been rough, But we’re going back to that Seaside Town, I’m tired of being brave, I’ll just stand in the waves alongside you at the Seaside Town In the club where we go, There’s a band, it’s real late, they’re not great, but you know. They won’t let you down, Not in this seaside town Times are tough and things have been rough, But we’re going back to that Seaside Town, All the hurt that we’ve been through, That’s forgotten when we come to this Seaside Town Times are tough and things have been rough, But we’re going back to that Seaside Town, We’ll have a drink or three, And then maybe we’ll think that we’re free in this Seaside Town

Firefly 04:13
I think I’ve matured, I’d like to think I wouldn’t start a fight Even though I still hate people when they’re, not polite Look in the mirror and what do I see Not the same face, I’m a little queen bee Because I’ve taken advice, yes I’m realigned And my idiot friend says its genuine. Your knowledge of history, well that’s not much fun Looking at it now dear, it seems a little homespun. Got well and truly spammed by a former friend Hot on the trail of some imaginary trend. Look in the mirror and what do I see Not the same face, I’m a little queen bee Because I’ve taken advice, yes I’m realigned And my idiot friend says its genuine. I may be wrong but then again who cares I may be in need of some running repairs I’ve got a souvenir from somewhere by the sea You might laugh but it’s a, little treasure to me Look in the mirror and what do I see Not the same face, I’m a little queen bee Because I’ve taken advice, yes I’m realigned I’ve got the tee shirt and I’m disinclined To listen to your deeply held convictions And your 21st century superstitions I’ve taken advice, yes I’m realigned And my idiot friend says its genuine.

She was a star in the bar to much acclaim, In her embrace, glass in hand, there was no shame We’ll have a drink or maybe ten, And at the dawn we start over again, day after day Pouring liquor’s like burning books, Sat in the corner huddled like crooks I’ll, get a round, you’ll do your lips Then back home tiptoeing around some zombie apocalypse It’s never been healthy, but it’s gone too fast You’ll depart like some pale iconoclast Scenes, from some dog-eared memoirs As we orbit each other for all time in a universe of bars.

Differential 03:53
My guardian angels have just gone on strike, My current position is one they don’t like, They’re disappointed with the last rewrite, Tomorrows not looking so good. Cassandra wipes away her tears, Washes them down with a couple of beers’ Little bear we let you down It’s too late to save us What kind of song do you sing to the departed That tells them that they’ve been outsmarted Said like that it’s so damn cold hearted Tomorrows not looking so good. We’re all looking for mystic signs With sweetbriar, thistles and eglantines But still relying on the old pipelines Tomorrows not looking so good. Cassandra wipes away her tears, Washes them down with a couple of beers’ Little bear we let you down It’s too late to save us There’s nothing more that you could have said Could tempt me out of my warm dark bed No more songs cause the birds have fled Tomorrows not looking so good The doctor sent me back down to the jetty But all the mistakes have been made already Even the past, it’s feeling unsteady Tomorrows not looking so good Cassandra wipes away her tears, Washing them down with a couple of beers’ Little bear we let you down It’s too late to save us

We had a drink and that was fine, A kind of meeting of similar minds Shared a diet of dystopian memes Yeah, loves young dream No longer feeling quite so blessed I've stumbled into the wild wild west Just slipped off the carousel And Christ, it’s all gone to hell Can’t afford the time any more The treasure didn’t wash up on the shore Lost it slowly but it all got streamed Not a love supreme No longer feeling quite so blessed I've stumbled into the wild wild west Just slipped off the carousel And Christ, it’s all gone to hell Now we’re walking on broken glass Getting closer to that critical mass I was dumb, and you were mean We’ve become a machine No longer feeling quite so blessed I've stumbled into the wild wild west Just slipped off the carousel And Christ, it’s all gone to hell

Fallen 03:12
For such a big guy you’re more like a kid, You’re not so dumb as you seem, But what you did, Well that’s not right, And even your highly paid help can’t explain its sense to me And they never will, Meanwhile, Hey brother, They’re kicking the doors in, They looking for your traitors,, And the moneys rolling in It’s a measure of how far we have fallen, That men like that are still allowed to do the talking It’s a measure of how far we have fallen, That men like that are still allowed to do the talking For such a big guy you’ve got great advice, For men who can’t, but it comes at a price, Well that’s not right, And even your cold-eyed acolytes don’t make much sense to me And they never will, Meanwhile, Hey brother, The camera’s rolling, The Johns are clicking, And the moneys rolling in It’s a measure of how far we have fallen, That men like that are still allowed to do the talking It’s a measure of how far we have fallen, That men like that are still allowed to do the talking It’s a measure of how far we have fallen, That men like that are still allowed to do the talking

Stuxnet 04:58
Here from my chair, Crunching my numbers, Data acquisition, With total control Passing shockwaves down the line Your secrets now they are all mine Spinning ever faster now This worm has turned and so have I, Here from my room, listening to you crying Influence and coercion Disrupt and destroy Passing shockwaves down the line Your secrets now they are all mine Its spinning ever faster now This worm has turned and so have I, Memories are made of these, Memories are made of these, Memories are made of these, Memories are made of these, Here in your car Driving through top down Going ever faster Out of control   Passing shockwaves down the line Your secrets now they are all mine Spinning ever faster now This worm has turned and so have I, Memories are made of these, Memories are made of these, Memories are made of these, Memories are made of these, Memories are made of these, Memories are made of these, Memories are made of these, Memories are made of these,
